TLK100 = Efficiency

Motorola WAVE PTX and the TLK100 radio has helped so many businesses over the last couple of years.  The wide-area coverage that it provides has changed the way its users operate.  This has resulted in many benefits, with improved efficiency right at the top!.

This improved efficiency was witnessed by the Wirefr3 team when visiting one of our Facilities Management clients.   Working on the Helpdesk, the supervisor was operating the Motorola WAVE PTX PC Dispatcher.  The supervisor located an operative who had the skill set to complete a task and who was located close to the required site.  A job request was given from the PC Dispatcher to the operative who was using a TLK100 radio.  This was done in seconds via instant push to talk communication – despite the two parties being 7 miles apart.

When on site, the operative needed some technical support.  He was able to radio a colleague (also using a TLK100 and located at a different site) and get the required input.  This job then needed to be authorised by a manager situated at Head office.  Again using the TLK100 radios, this was able to be confirmed – all within seconds.

The above is a fairly simple example of how the TLK100 is being used but it does highlight how it can simplify working practices and improve efficiency.
