WAVE PTX™ continues to grow.  This is particularly evident in the education sector with facilities that are of a large scale.

The key benefit of using the Motorola WAVE PTX™ communication platform is the the wide area coverage it provides.  Large educational facilities that require two-way radio communication could be faced with a reasonably significant capital outlay.  A licensing process would need to be undertaken and significant radio infrastructure would need to be deployed and paid for.

Motorola WAVE PTX™ does not require a licence.  There is no radio infrastructure to deploy and pay for.  The set up is simple – one device – one subscription.  Once connected and live, you are ready to make push-to-talk calls.

Once live, you have access to the wide-area coverage provided by 3G/4G and broadband.  This allows you to make group or individual calls across your entire facility.  Why?  The range on the radios is UK and Europe-wide!

The TLK100 radio is a handheld portable radio that is simple to use.  All changes to talk groups and contacts are carried out over the air.

The TLK150 also operates across the WAVE PTX™ platform.  This is an in-vehicle radio where drivers can communicate safely from the vehicle, across the campus.
